Typo and whitespace fixes for xf86cfg

IRIX build and warning fixes

Changed default value of xf86Verbose from 0 to 1, or no checker messages
would be printed by default :-)
Fixed some problems in the "expert mode", so that now all changes made
in the expert mode should be visible in the graphical representation of
XF86Config and should not core when doing some type changes. If you can
make it core or something is not being updated, please let me know.

Changed vidmode.c to work with the driver vesa provided modeline information.
Changed vesa.c to not use vgahw, actually it should be changed to fully use
it, as it is currently reimplementing several vgahw functions.
Also changed the vesa driver to use mttr when mapping the framebuffer memory,
if the memory is linear and is a pci card.

Made the "Add standard VESA mode to current screen" menu useful.
XF86VidModeAddModeLine apparently always returns true. With this
patch, if no new modelines were added, it will ask the user to
add the modeline definition to the Monitor section.

 942. Fix a problem where the X server thinks it has acquired a VT at startup
      before it has really been released.  This is due to the ioctl()
      returning prematurely because of a pending signal (Jeff Hartmann).
 941. Fix a problem with the PAM support in xdm that prevents
      pam_start_session() from ever being called (Takanori Saneto).
